About Red Wiggler Worms
Eisenia fetida worms are often commonly known by a variety of other names. Some of the more common names used are red wigglers, tiger worms, manure worms, and red composting worms. But regardless of what you call them, they are among the best composting worms available!
Both first time and experienced worm farmers choose red wiggler worm for many reasons. These hardy composters are easy to care for, reproduce quickly, tolerate a wide range of temperatures, and of course can eat huge amounts of organic waste.

While we have never received any complaints of cross-species contamination, please know that there is always a chance you might end up receiving a few worms of a different species with your order. While our goal is to keep our worm beds as close to 100% red wigglers as possible, please understand that with any type of composting worms, most worm farmers can not guarantee 100% pure worm species. If cross-species contamination were ever to be an issue, do know that these “other” species are excellent composters as well.
